Real Madrid CF is a professional football team is the Spanish league, La Liga BBVA, they were founded in the early 1900s and are one of the proud creators of the Spanish league, they are the all time leaders of the Spanish league having won it 32 times in total, they won the champions league (cup with the 4 top teams in several leagues in Europe) 9 times and are the top winners of the cup. Real Madrid are very famous for their money, they have spent over 1 billion dollars in 10 years, they possess the 2 most expensive football players in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo for 132 million dollars with a weekly pay of 425 thousand dollars a week, and Gareth bale for 138 million dollars with a weekly pay of 300 thousand dollars a week. Although they have a team of star players, they have been struggling to win the league because of their top rivals FC Barcelona, they have also been struggling to win the champions league again, having not won it since 2002 where Zine dine Zidane shot a famous volley outside of the box to win the game.
Real Madrid do not only have a rivalry between clubs but also between players, Cristiano Ronaldo is often compared to FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi as they both have appeared in the top 3 of the ballon d'or which is a trophy of which the best player in Europe dreams of winning. Cristiano Ronaldo is the top scorer of Real Madrid at the moment and in only 5 years is the 5th top scorer in Real Madrid history, he counts 210 goals in 205 games. The last game Real Madrid won was Wednesday against Elche where Ronaldo won the game for them in the 93'rd minute extra time goal where he showed upon the score sheet with 2 goals to win the game for Real Madrid 2-1

I never heard of this football l (soccer) league and also I did not know that there was a league in the Spanish world. Well I knew nothing about this team and I really hope that I will learn a lot of stuff from this blog and they could be my most favorite team in the Spanish league.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is an interesting topic. I used to be a huge football/soccer fan before I fell in love with basketball. I actually had no idea Zidane played for Real Madrid! I remember him playing for the French national team so I assumed he only played in French leagues. I look forward to reading more about your blog.
ReplyDeleteZidane is a legend of Real Madrid, He scored a volley in the final of the Champions league and is also Real Madrids former sporting agent and now Real Madrid current assistant manager, he has a bond with Real Madrid and just can't stay away from the superstar club
